PENNSYLVANIA CONFERENCE FOR WOMEN

Mission Statement
THE CONFERENCE MISSION IS TO PROVIDE THE PREMIER STATEWIDE EDUCATIONAL AND NETWORKING FORUM FOR THE WOMEN OF THE STATE. IN 2009, THE CONFERENCE ADDED A CAREER FAIR TO THE CONFERENCE PROGRAMMING TO ADDRESS THE CAREER AND EMPLOYMENT ISSUES FACING THE STATE. THE COMPONENTS OF THE CAREER FAIR INCLUDED EMPLOYERS WITH JOBS FOR HIRE, RESUME CRITIQUING SERVICES FOR ATTENDEES, CAREER COACHING AND EXPERTS ADDRESSING HOW TO LOOK FOR A JOB, WHAT EMPLOYERS ARE LOOKING FOR, AND HOW TO BRAND ONESELF.

Formed 2003. The IRS granted this nonprofit coporation 501(c) status in January of 2004. Its accounting period ends in December.
